Individuals in need of assistance with self-care should contact Beacons to discuss whether there is room for the individual to attend with a self-provided personal care attendant.
Costs & Payment Options:
1. SDRC Consumers: SDRC consumers aged 18+ should contact their service coordinators in writing to determine if they are eligible for SDRC funding of the summer vocational workshops. If the consumer IS eligible, the consumer's current IPP and "purchase of service" (POS) should be sent to: PathFinder@BeaconsNorthCounty.com. Once approved, a PathFinder team member will contact you to discuss further steps and to ensure the application meets entrance criteria set forth in the application. Once approved, applicant may select the workshops of interest.
Beacons Vendor Number:
#PY1700, Code: 102, Subcode: Mini
2. Private Pay? Yes, if not otherwise eligible for SDRC or Self-Determination (SD) funding. Individuals may pay privately if they are not eligible for funding through the SDRC or SD because they are still in a school district, or because they want to attend more than the 4 workshops funded by the SDRC or their SD Plans. Our Board works hard to fundraise throughout the year to help subsidize workshops to keep them at an affordable cost for those not eligible for SDRC funding. Each 8 hour workshop will be $160 (or $20 per hour for supervised fun).
*Cooking with a Stove, Cooking without a Stove, Crafts, Painting, Floral, and Barista will all be subject to a $25 materials fee.
If you have any questions, please contact: Pathfinder@BeaconsNorthCounty.com.
Private paying individuals will be invoiced once all application materials have been completed and enrollment and private pay eligibility confirmed.
